Identification with all senses

The automated identification concerns the unique identification of a product or a characteristic of a product. This not only includes the automatic reading of an article code but may also include the determination of the “use-by” date or the “date of manufacture” or other identifiers.

Laser scanners for reading barcodes, RFID scanners and cameras for 3D datamatrix codes are used in AutoMatic identification systems, along with image processing systems for OCR/ICR technology and image comparison with uncoded products. The requirements of your process define the appropriate selection of the optimum reading system.
